This is NOT a dessert for those who are dieting or counting calories!!! *Slice thin and set aside 2 cups of fresh rhubarb. Combine 2 cups water, 2 cups sugar, a dash of salt, 1 tablespoon of butter. Cook until sugar is dissolved, stirring now and then to ensure an even mix. *Combine 2 cups Bisquik, 1 egg and enough mild to make a firm, soft dough. Roll out on a board floured with Bisquik to a rectangular shape. Don't get it too thin. Sprinkle well with cinnamon, spread rhubarb evenly and roll up like a cinnamon roll. Slice about 1/2 inch wide. Lay on side in syrup and cook for about 20 minutes. (I use an electric skillet at 250 degrees, but can be done with an oven). Serve dumplings in bowls with desired amount of heavy cream (if you want, you can use something like Kool Whip, but you loose some of the flavor of the cream). This is a great dessert if you are having a group over for dinner.
